A new sports bar is coming to downtown Greenville - Hoops and Hops at 20 E. Coffee St. owned by Hugh St. Clair of St. Clair Signs Incorporated.

Plans for the building to house a CVS pharmacy at the long vacant corner of Main and McBee in downtown Greenville have been scaled back. Originally planned as a two story building, it will now be two stories only on the side that fronts Main Street and CVS will occupy all but two small spaces.

The Shops at Greenridge, located on Woodruff Road at Interstate 85, has new tenants: Relax the Back, buybuy BABY and Polished, a nail salon.

Carolina Ale House’s pale yellow paint job and sign gives it an almost Art Deco look. Word is the restaurant and bar in the former home of Kimbrell’s Furniture on Main Street will open this month.
