Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes will build a mortuary between Mauldin and Simpsonville on Highway 417. The company has three locations, downtown, northwest and a cremation center.

Harrison Park on Harrison Bridge has become Simpsonville’s first gated community. The developer wanted to be competitive with other neighborhoods in the $280,000 range and to cut down on thefts of building supplies.
