NAI Earle Furman has expanded its team to include the partners of Croxton Gray Commercial Properties.

It is a move that Earle Furman, president and founder of NAI Earle Furman, as well as Harry Croxton and John Gray, said is an opportunity to enhance competitive advantage while exerting a more dominant market share.

Under the new partnership, Croxton Gray’s brokerage accounts have been incorporated into the NAI Earle Furman portfolio.

It was a decision that was six months in the making, said Harry Croxton, who had served as president of Croxton Gray. Croxton said business had reached a crossroads where a substantial investment would have been required by the firm in its technology infrastructure.

Croxton said the decision allows both he and Gray, with whom he founded Croxton Gray Commercial Properties Inc. in January 2005, to focus on the work they enjoy without everyday management responsibilities and distractions.

NAI Earle Furman is among the Upstate’s oldest and most respected commercial real estate firms. Founded in 1986, it has a history of helping clients optimize real estate assets both regionally and internationally, and has continued to expand even in a down market.

The firm has consistently generated an average annual volume of more than $150 million.

“Croxton Gray has operated as a small firm for the past six years, and we see the access to larger platforms and more extensive contacts as a unique opportunity,” Croxton said.

Simply put, NAI Earle Furman seemed to be the right fit, said Gray, who served as Broker in Charge with Croxton Gray.

“We have co-brokered many deals together over the years, and are excited that are teams are joining forces,” he said.

The move gives Croxton and Gray immediate access to the world’s only managed network of commercial real estate firms, New American International, which work to help clients strategically optimize their assets around the world.

As a member of this network, NAI Earle Furman is able to provide commercial real estate services to local Upstate clients, as well as national and international clients.

“We have immediate access to over 5,000 professionals working out of 325 offices in 55 countries throughout the world,” Furman said.

The NAI Global Network has annual sales and leasing transactions of $45 billion and manages 200 million square feet of property.

Joining Croxton and Gray in the move were former Croxton Gray Commercial Properties broker Hunt Huntley and office manager Jessica Wall.

“We are as excited as they are,” Furman said. “The character, quality and professional experience that John Gray and Harry Croxton and their team bring will greatly benefit our company and clients.”

NAI Earle Furman offers a wide range of services including sales, leasing, development, site selection, consulting and property management.
