	Crime: Northcutt was 20 and newly married when he punched, squeezed, choked and bit his four-month-old daughter Breanna, who weighed 12 pounds, then broke her back on the rail of her crib because she wouldn't stop crying. He told investigators "I just sort lost it."
	Appeals Stage: SC Supreme Court overturned his original sentence, ruling Solicitor Donnie Myers was overzealous. Myers brought a crib into the courtroom and used a doll to demonstrate what Moore did. Moore was sentenced again to death by Judge James Williams in 2009.

	Crime: Killed clerk Irene Graves at a Speedway on Laurens Road with a .32-caliber pistol after she resisted opening the store safe. Owens said "Oh, well," and shot her in the head. The evening of his conviction while waiting for the sentencing phase, Owens hit Christopher Lee, who was also in the Greenville County Detention Center, in the eye, knocked him to the ground, and stabbed him in the eye with a ballpoint pen. He heard the man moaning and shoved the pen into the man's nostril, killing him. Owens has said he wants to kill more people than anyone in Greenville County.
